Mama Said, segundo álbum de Lenny Kravitz e responsável por tornar o cantor, compositor e guitarrista americano um astro em nível mundial, será reeditado no formato deluxe edition. A nova versão sairá no dia 5 de junho.

Lançado originalmente em 1991, o álbum inclui as duas primeiras músicas de Kravitz a invadir os charts. São elas a swingada balada soul It Ain’t Over ’til It’s Over e o rockão Always On The Run. É de um dos versos dessa última que o título do álbum foi extraído.

Enquanto It Ain’t Over ’til It’s Over atingiu o segundo posto na parada dos singles americana, Always On The Run acertou em cheio na parada rocker, e conta com a participação especial de Slash, que foi colega de escola dele e que em 1991 já era uma estrela do rock, como guitarrista do Guns N’ Roses.

A nova versão de Mama Said será no formato CD duplo e incluirá 21 faixas bônus, sendo 15 delas inéditas. O material se divide entre demos, faixas instrumentais, canções inacabadas e oito gravações ao vivo realizadas no Japão e na Holanda.
